Forgiveness and Love Chapter 83
“So?” Liam asked pacing outside the bathroom door, “what does it say?” Miley emerged with head down and that look in her eyes that Liam had became too familiar with, “Oh babe I’m so sorry.”
He pulled her close to his body feeling how hard she was trying not to cry, “when the time’s right it’ll happen Miley.” But honestly, he didn’t believe it at all, they’d been trying for a baby now for around two months and even though it wasn’t a long time, it was feeling like a lifetime to them. The more they had to wait for the test to say positive the more they would start to doubt whether having a baby at this age would be a wise thing to do.
“I don’t understand,” Miley sighed pulling him over to their bed, “Is it me? Am I doing something wrong.”
Liam laughed also softening the situation, “Trust me you’re not doing aaanything wrong.”
“Well I’m glad to hear you don’t think so,” she teased back, “but I mean seriously, even before we started trying we didn’t always use protection and now even when we’re trying nothing’s happening.”
“What are you suggesting?” Liam asked worried.
“Maybe it’s something to do with us, not how we do it but maybe we can’t have children,” she thought back to the doctors meeting she had and how they explained that it might be difficult with how much strain is on Mileys body sometimes.
Liam shrugged off the idea lightly knowing that they just needed to be patient, “It’ll happen Miley you just wait, but look I have some news you wont really like.”
“More?” she asked suddenly looking emotionally exhausted.
“My promo for The Hunger Games start next week and I’ll be travelling all around the world so you could either come with me for some of it or we can skype or something.”
“Sadly Liam i don’t think we can do what we actually want to do over Skype,” she laughed, “I have work on this new album starting and promo for LOL but i guess i could come see you for a few days when I’m free?”
“I don’t want it to be some kind of drop in, drop out thing Miley you’re worth more than that to me,” he sighed caressing her face gently.
“Speaking of that,” she jumped kissing him and moving off the bed, “I got something yesterday for you.”
“For me?”
“Yep,” she took her shirt off so she was only wearing a bra and stretched her arm out to the side to reveal a new tattoo.
“Love never dies?” he looked overwhelmingly happy.
“It’ll be marked on me for as long as you’re away to prove that nothing will get between us.”
“I love it,” he smiled wrapping his strong arms around her again, “like I love you.”
“Like our baby will do one day too?”
“Yes, it will happen and when it does you’ll be an amazing mom,” he kissed her forehead.
“Liam!” she squeeled, he blew bubbles into her face.
He laughed as she slapped his wet arm away, “we should get baths together more often.”
“Hmmm….i don’t think so,” she teased as he rinsed through her hair she turned over so she was leaning over his soaked naked body, “you’re mean at bath time.”
“You love it,” he grinned going in to nibble her ear; she started kissing his neck and bare chest.
“How sure of that are you?”
“As sure as you are,” he winked kissing her back.
